Brendan was born and raised in Coon Rapids, MN and graduated from Coon Rapids High School in 2014 where he swam for the school team and enjoyed playing basketball with his friends. He then proceeded to go to Mankato State University for two years to then join his brother, Aaron, at St. Cloud State University. The time spent in St. Cloud was enjoyable but changes were needed and that's when he moved back home and attended Metropolitan State University and graduated with a bachelor's in accounting. Brendan has always enjoyed Minnesota sports specifically the Vikings and you could call him a superfan of the Timberwolves. He currently works at Redpath & Company in White Bear Lake, as a public accountant, and is sitting for the CPA exam and sees himself as a future certified public accountant. He takes pride in his family and looks to build on that foundation and always have them included in his life.

Kacie was born and raised in Stillwater, MN and graduated from Stillwater High School in 2014. Kacie has always enjoyed sports and throughout school had played some basketball, volleyball and ran both cross country, and track. She attended her first year of college at Northern Michigan University, transferred to a local community college for her second year and then finished and graduated with her bachelor's degree from Concordia University St. Paul in Communications with a minor in Marketing. She also had the opportunity to study abroad for a semester in Florence, Italy. Currently Kacie works for Andersen Windows as a Customer Experience Representative and is quoting windows and doors for Andersen dealers. In her spare time, she enjoys watching Minnesota sports, playing games, spending time with family & friends, going to wineries, breweries, spending time on the lake, hiking and just exploring.

Brendan & Kacie met on a dating app, Hinge, and started talking through the app. Eventually Brendan asked Kacie out on a date, and they went to Tipsy Steer in Roseville and then to Blackstack Brewery afterwards and played games. Neither of them wanted the night to end! Then came their second and third date, and so on. The rest was history as Brendan asked Kacie to be his girlfriend a few weeks later. As they were each getting to know each other's families it just seemed that it was meant to be as both families enjoy an annual summer vacation in Hayward, WI on the same lake & coincidentally the same week of the year! What are the chances? Talk about meant to be! Both love spending time with their families as family is extremely important to both of them. Together, they enjoy games, breweries, Minnesota sports etc. Brendan and Kacie looked at rings together prior to Brendan proposing so Kacie knew it was happening in the near future. For Kacie's big 30th birthday, Kacie asked Brendan to plan a day to celebrate her birthday. So on October 11th, the Saturday after, Brendan told Kacie they were going to a winery and also to wear something nice (lol). As a result, Kacie suspected what was going to happen as she had only seen Brendan drink a glass of wine maybe once prior to this date. They went to Rustic Roots Winery, and got two flights of wine, and then picked their favorites and got a glass of each and went for a walk through the vineyard vines. It was here where Brendan proposed! Of course, Kacie said YES! Brendan & Kacie cannot wait to start their forever together!
