Things To Do

The Wedding Mass at St. Patrick's will end at approximately 4PM, and our reception's cocktail hour at Water's Edge begins at 7PM. For anyone traveling from out of town (or for anyone who just wants to kill time between the Mass and reception!) we suggest the following:

The Rust & Gold

70 Gerard Street, Huntington, NY 11743
, (631) 629-4431

Brendan says: "It's great place to grab a drink, watch a game, play different board games, and the food is out of this world. They've got great tap beer options too." Jackie says: "If you go here in between the Mass and wedding, please keep in mind that we will have an open bar and SO much food at the reception."

Six Harbors Brewing Company

243 New York Avenue, Huntington, NY 11743
, (631) 470-1560

Brendan says: "Try the Blood Orange beer - you won't regret it." Jackie says: "I don't love beer, but the dogs here are AMAZING."

Kilwin's Huntington Village

293 Main Street, Huntington, NY 11743

Brendan says: "The chocolate waffle cone with literally any flavor will work. However, probably avoid this before coming to cocktail hour. It's pretty heavy." Jackie says: "My order is always the s'mores flavored ice cream in a waffle cone bowl. Best ice cream ever."

Luna Nova

4 Wall Street, Huntington, NY 11743

Brendan says: "If I ever need Christmas gifts for Jackie, this is where I go." Jackie says: "This shop has the COOLEST stuff, plants, crystals, candles, ugh. It's the best."

Catpurrccinos

322 Main Street, Huntington, NY 11743

Brendan says: "Not really a cat guy." Jackie says: "Brendan is lying. Everyone needs to see the way he interacts with my cats Minnie and Maxie. Baby voice and everything."

Montauk Salt Cave West

169 New York Avenue, Huntington, NY 11743

Brendan says: "I've heard it's pretty relaxing." Jackie says: "Such an amazing spot to unwind, take a deep breath and meditate for a while."

Claytime

46 Gerard Street, Huntington, NY 11743

Brendan says: "I used to go here all the time as a kid. Another cool part of Huntington history." Jackie says: "It's so nice to come here and get your hands dirty painting. Honestly it's really relaxing."

Heckscher Park

11 Prime Avenue, Huntington, NY 11743
, (631) 351-3089

Brendan says: "It's a historic part of our town. It's got good trails." Jackie says: "Maybe don't walk the trails while you're all dressed up..."
