FAQs

Question

What attire is appropriate?

Answer

We ask that all guests follow formal wedding attire. Formal wedding attire typically calls for a sophisticated look, often blending black-tie expectations with more flexibility. For women, this means a floor-length gown, an elegant midi dress, or a dressy pantsuit, while men should wear dress pants/slacks and a formal button-up shirt with a tie or a formal tuxedo. Key elements include elevated fabrics like silk or wool, refined accessories, and polished footwear.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Yes and no, we truly love your little ones, but to ensure everyone can fully enjoy the ceremony, we ask that if your children are too young to be able to sit quietly through a one-hour-long ceremony, we ask you please leave them at home. Inquire with the bride or groom for further clarity.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

As the ceremony will start at 5:00 pm, we ask that guests arrive 15-30 minutes before the ceremony starts.

Question

Where will the ceremony be held?

Answer

The ceremony will be held at The Port Ludlow Resort, outside, at Burner Point.

Question

What is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We ask that guests RSVP no later than one month in advance to ensure proper planning.

Question

Can I take photos/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’ve waited a long time for this moment and want to see your faces, not your screens! We’re hosting an unplugged ceremony and ask that you please silence your phones. Don't worry, our photographer has it covered, and we’ll be happy to share those memories with you later.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We’ve worked hard to create an intimate guest list. Unless otherwise specified on your envelope, we are unable to accommodate additional plus-ones. Please reach out to us if you have any questions so that we can try to accommodate you!
