WE'RE FINALLY GETTING MARRIED!

We met while traveling for work, during our major snow storm in January 2017.. we both had gotten snowed in! I (Candise) was checking into my hotel for another couple of nights, while Brendan (who had no idea he would get stuck there) was checking in and bought a tooth brush because he had no idea he was going to have to stay in town. We actually met in the elevator, he asked me if I was snowed in too? I laughed and said, "kinda." I reached my floor and as I stepped out and walked towards my room. I saw Brendan get off on the same floor and then realized he couldn't go anywhere... He obviously had gotten off the wrong floor on purpose! :) I had ordered a to go order from the cheesecake factory. Once I looked in the bag, I found out they had forgotten to give me a fork. I went downstairs to grab one from the little restaurant downstairs. Of course he was down stairs waiting to see if he would see me again.. He saw me and smiled and then tried to talk to me again. I got my fork and then went back upstairs. I got to my room, stood there, put my food down and went back downstairs.... We talked and shared stories all night! He even was on the news... Funny story! We talked the whole night and he even told some one that we had just gotten married. Lol Brendan lived in Vancouver, WA and myself in Puyallup. We managed to spend every single day talking until 2am-3am and traveling back and forth any where from 1-3 days a week. On top of us both working full time, traveling for work and being full time parents which we always put them first. We did this for over a year! I truly believe this created a huge part in foundation on our communication skills with each other, and Brendan was offered a position in the Puyallup area was ready to make the move to us! We now all live together with the kids and could not be happier!! This is truly a dream come true ❤️

Literally the first night I met Candise, I knew I was going to marry her. We even told people we met that we were just married and celebrating! Lol All throughout the year, whenever we would go somewhere or do something special, we would take a picture. I would hide one letter in each of them to eventually spell out M A R R Y U S! I definitely got the kids involved with it as well. I put together a video from the past year with all of our pictures of our kids, traveling and all the fun things that we've done. Playing in the background of the video was the song that we talked about using for our wedding one day. At the end of the video, the last pictures were the ones with the letters hidden in them. After the video ended and she had read what the pictures said, I pulled her out of the car, got down on my knee and made the best decision of my life! She said yes! ....followed by a FINALLY!!..... LOL
