I love you more

In May 2018, I found myself without a date for the junior prom. A friend from the tennis team suggested she knew someone, Brendan, who was also in need of a date. I agreed to meet him, and our first encounter was over pizza on his couch, with us sitting as far apart as possible. Our second meeting was on prom night, which was as awkward as you might expect, so I was surprised when Brendan told me he had fun and wanted to take me on a real date. From that point on, Brendan and I were nearly inseparable throughout the rest of high school. We volunteered together, much to Brendan's occasional dismay, visited each other at our workplaces, indulged in countless meals, and played tennis. Our bond grew stronger with every shared moment and adventure. When college started, we faced the challenge of a long-distance relationship as I went to Western Washington University and Brendan attended Everett Community College. The separation was tough, but it only strengthened our bond. The pandemic brought us closer when I lived with Brendan and his family. After two years of online classes, I returned to Bellingham while Brendan moved to Seattle to start his junior year of college at the University of Washington, and we resumed our long-distance routine, making it work with weekend visits. After graduation, we both secured jobs in Arizona and moved together, finally living under the same roof with our two cats, Schmumpkin and Brutus. Loving our life and the six-plus years we've spent together, we decided it was time to tie the knot, and we wouldn't want to do it without you there!
