The Shining Sea Bikeway travels 10.7 miles between Woods Hole and North Falmouth, including a stretch that visits the heart of Falmouth Village. You can quickly enter the trail from the downtown area before carrying on and exploring in either direction. This pathway is named after the song ‘American the Beautiful’ because one-time Falmouth resident Katharine Lee Bates wrote it.
