We ask that you arrive at Bedell Cellars by 4:45pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm.
Please refer to our "travel" page for a list of hotel blocks and other suggested accommodations. Due to the Labor Day holiday, and with the North Fork being a popular getaway here in NY, we recommend booking your rooms as soon as possible. If you're seeking your own accommodations, reserving a room anywhere on the North Fork / near Greenport will put you about ~20mins away from the venue by car. You can also stay in Riverhead or Brookhaven - while they are farther away from the venue (30-40mins), we have arranged transportation (a shuttle) to/from our hotel blocks in those areas. Please see the 'travel' page for a list of the hotels.
We will be providing a shuttle to and from the wedding venue from three hotels, below: Home2Suites Long Island | Departs for Bedell at 3:20pm Holiday Inn Express Long Island East End | Departs for Bedell at 3:50pm Hyatt Place Riverhead, and The Preston House & Hotel | Departs for Bedell at 4:05pm The shuttle will depart from the reception at 11:00pm and will bring guests back to the aforementioned hotels. Guests staying at other hotels/inns will be responsible for their own transportation to/from the venue. We will have valet parking should you choose to drive. Please note that Ubers are not widely accessible from the wedding venue.
This event is black-tie optional. For the men that means we prefer tuxes or formal/darker suits. For the women that means we prefer longer dresses or fancier attire. We want everyone to look their best! For the women, please note that the ceremony and cocktail hour will be on the lawn, so we suggest you are mindful of your footwear.
Only those directly addressed on the wedding invitation are invited. If your wedding invitation included "guest", then you have a plus-one. The vineyard has a limit on the number of guests allowed on the premises.
Due to the Labor Day holiday, and with the North Fork being a popular summer getaway for New Yorkers, we expect there to be increased traffic on the island during our wedding weekend. As such, we recommend arriving to the area the evening prior (9/2). We also ask that you are mindful of the time it will take to reach the venue on the day of our wedding if you elect to drive or take an Uber. We recommend you arrive at Bedell Cellars by 4:45pm.
