Brenda and Frank both worked at Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen the Summer of 2013. Being co-workers, they did not really talk outside of work. Little did Frank know, on Brenda’s last day of work he asked “Add me on Facebook, maybe we can hang out or go to the movies?" Brenda’s response was “I don’t think that can happen. I leave to Corpus Christi this weekend for college.” 3 months later Brenda was still curious about Frank, so she sent him a message....ONE WEEK later frank replied. They continued to get to know each other and that same weekend Brenda was driving to Los Fresnos to visit family. Before driving back to Corpus they both decided to have lunch at Wingstop. Their feelings for one another grew stronger as well as their friendship. November 8, 2013 was the beginning of their long-distance relationship. September 2014 Frank joined the National Guard. His base being located in Kingsville, made it simple to see each other once a month. 4 years into their relationship Frank decided to move to Corpus Christi. They moved into an apartment together and that same year, they adopted their dog “Forest” . July 2018 new job opportunities opened, so Brenda and Frank moved to San Antonio. 6 years later and still in love, Frank proposed to Brenda on April 13, 2019 at the Towers of America.
