What is the weather in Houston like this time of year?

Answer

February weather in Houston is mild and variable, with temperatures ranging from the mid 60’s to low 40’s. As long as you pack warm clothes and some long sleeves, you will be comfortable

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire. Ladies are encouraged to wear cocktail dresses, and gentlemen can wear suits or business casual. Our color scheme is navy blue, beige, and both dark and light shades of green (if that helps)!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors and the reception will be held indoors. The venue is located at a 36-acre pecan orchard which encompasses 1 large pond, an outdoor fireplace, gazebo, and 4 separate houses for immediate family members to stay onsite. Needless to say, there are many beautiful, walkable places to explore outside. We will have access to the entire property on the wedding eve and official wedding day

Is there an after-party after the wedding?

Answer

Most definitely! We have rented The Lodge, which is a 2-story house that sleeps 25-30 people on-site (it has 8 bedrooms, 4 baths, pool table, poker table, full kitchen, etc). This is perfect for friends and family who wish to continue the celebration without having to drive afterwards. Once the reception ends, feel free to join us for the after-party; we will also have access to the outdoor fireplace for some late-night s’mores and a couple more drinks

Answer

While we would love for everyone to bring their children, unless specified on your invitation, we would like to keep this event as intimate as possible
