6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Casual
In place of a rehearsal dinner, we’ll be having a night before “meet and greet” type party to get to know everyone before the big day. There will be a selection of beer, wine, and shareable snacks. There will be live music until 9pm, so even though the event only runs until 8pm, guests are able to stay as long as they would like.
9:00 am - 9:30 am
The ceremony will take place on the beach directly behind the large round pavilion. We will have some beach chairs and towels provided, but we encourage you to bring your own beach gear if you plan to stay all day
Dress code is beach attire! Hawaiian shirts, rash guards, shorts, skirts, sundresses, cover-ups and bathing suits! The bride and groom will both have their bathing suits on under their ceremony attire. Bathrooms are located near the parking lot if you need to change.
9:30 am - 11:00 am
The mini brunch will take place at the large round pavilion. There will be some breakfast nibbles, yard games, music, and drinks for our guests to enjoy while the newlyweds and their families take some quick photos.
Feel free to set yourself up on the beach if you brought any chairs or umbrellas with you or grab some snacks and chill out under our tent. Mix, mingle, dance, swim. In a traditional wedding, this would most resemble the “cocktail hour” feel free to treat it as such. We will have some cold coffees if mornings really aren’t your thing. We know we’re the crazy early risers 😂 We appreciate you 💕
11:30 am - 2:30 pm
Similar to the mini-brunch, this will primarily take place at the large pavilion.
This is an “Open House” style reception, so don’t feel required to eat right at 11:30. Your token (found in your wedding favor) will be used to receive your BBQ plate from Blacken Blues. Feel free to eat your food wherever you prefer, just be sure to throw all trash in the nearby receptacles.
3:00 pm - 8:00 pm
We were only able to rent the pavilion until 3, so we’re taking the party to the beach!
Stay as long as you’d like, visit Sharky’s right next door if you feel like getting a specialty cocktail or dinner. Bring out your coolers, umbrellas, floaties, and beach chairs. We’re partying until the bugs kick us out. If you weren’t able to make it to the earlier events, don’t let that stop you from swinging by now. There’s a Publix on the island if you need to grab some beach essentials. Open house style beach party with the freshly minted Mr and Mrs Walburn
