This is the bride’s favorite place in Portland, if you’d like to enjoy the Umami Cafe advance reservation is required. Make sure to stop by the International Rose Garden before or after your trip (it’s free!) Powell's City of Books
This is the bride’s second favorite place in Portland, it’s the world’s largest independent bookstore. They close at 9pm and late night bookstore runs are the best! Multnomah Waterfalls
If you’re renting a car, we highly recommend driving the 35 minute Columbia Gorge scenic highway to the most visited waterfall in the Pacific Northwest! Bonus: you’ll pass many waterfalls along the way. Forest Park & Pittock Mansion
If you’re not renting a car but looking to experience a PNW hike, we recommend our neighborhood Gem, Forest Park! It’s one of the largest urban forests in the U.S and it will take you up to Pittock Mansion, a French Renaissance-style château with a gorgeous view of our beloved city of roses! Portland Aerial Tram - Lower Terminal
Visit South Waterfront, Jovan & Brenda’s first Portland home, and take the 5 minute tram ride up the hill for an unobstructed view of our bridge city. Oregon Zoo
Bride & Groom have visited many zoos (across the U.S and Asia), and yet the Portland zoo is an unmatched experience. Timed tickets are required so we recommend booking in advance. One of our favorite dining spots (you have to try the Sweet & Sour Fried Chicken)! Stop by Salt & Straw for some gourmet ice cream and take a stroll in Alphabet District, northwest Portland’s retail center lined with thrift stores, specialty shops, restaurants and cafes. Fun Fact: NW 23rd inspired the creation of Springfield for The Simpsons!
