This was our 2nd date where we were out of breath once we reached the Hollywood sign, but neither of us would show it!

We became a Portland Trailblazers Blazers home at our first apartment together in Garden Grove, Ca

Hiking started to become a hobby we enjoyed together- especially seaside hikes in Newport Beach!

...and this hike in Malibu!

We celebrated our first birthdays as a couple

We explored SoCal (Joey had been in California less than 1 year at this point).

Of course we ended up at a basketball game or two (shoutout to Luis for making it possible)

We even rode the Incredi-coaster 6x at Disney's California Adventures!

We took our first out-of-state trip to Portland, Oregon and Washougal, Washington (Joey's hometown).

Our first Christmas in our apartment in Garden Grove

First came Bean, a baby kitten with a terrible eye infection that we adopted in December 2020

We rang in another New Year together!

Our first trip to Texas, we were deciding whether we could live here

One of our last mini-adventures in SoCal, this time at Catalina Island!

With teamwork and care, we ended up saving Bean's eye!

And then we packed up and moved to Texas! This was our first Texas sunset (Amarillo).

And we started a new journey in Corinth, Texas!

Bean started loving her new home

And so did we (Goatman's Bridge, Denton)

Then came Deeda aka Dee'ersh/ Deeder!

She was a very happy

and mangey

puppy!

Of course we brought her on our lakeside hikes!

The Lake Dallas Lakeside hike quickly became our favorite little gem!

We became engaged in August 2022 in Lake Texoma!

Of course we continued to hike!

and hike!

At this point, we decided we should try to buy a house!

And of course we kept coming to our favorite little hike!

Another Christmas together came!

Deeda was no longer a mangey puppy either!

And we had a blast celebrating our fist Christmas in Texas

Great things were happening for us!

We bought a home in Lake Dallas, Texas!

Deeda loved our new home (although she did not help with the move).

We got our first taste of a Texas winter!

Which meant more days indoors bonding for Deeda and Bean!

Once winter passed, we went back to one our favorite places in North Texas- the Fort Worth Stockyards!

We (Joey) had to become handy around our new home

But as usual, we still found time for play- this time at Texas Live, an entertainment center with views of both the Rangers' Globe Life Field and the Cowboys' AT&T Stadium!

And then Nugget came along!

Bean was filled with joy

And so was Deeda!

They all ended up getting along :)

We celebrated more birthdays together!

Our first trip to a Texas Beach!

Deeda did not want to leave!

She was very disappointed to be back home

But we made it up to her with a hike at our favorite spot

as well as a Christmas present!

And then we survived our 2nd Texas winter!

Hank joined our family!

They became inseparable

He fit right into the family!

Now we're able to share our favorite hike with Deeda and Hank

All of these memories because we fell in love!
