Please note that Lucca has limited public transportation. Given that the accommodations and venue are located in the countryside, we strongly suggest renting a car or booking transportation in advance. Note: Italy requires all non-EU drivers to have an International Driving Permit (IDP) along with their regular driver’s license. You can get your IDP easily through the American Automobile Association (AAA)—either online at aaa-idp.com, by mail, or in person at a AAA office. It’s a simple step that will make your travels around Italy smoother and more fun!
