We first met in September of 2008 through an old friend. My friend said "I have this cute guy I want you to meet! Dress up!" and I did! We went over to our friend Sean's apartment and hung out. We hung out there almost everyday with other friends playing COD and spades daily. We finally exchanged numbers after a couple of weeks and we began texting and calling each other all the time. We both liked each other but played hard to get for a while, 4 years to be exact. However, within those 4 years, it was all about us. Next thing you know, we were at Thanksgiving dinner at his family's house as a couple. We both fit right in with each of our families. We decided to move in together in 2015 in our first apartment on Boysenberry Dr. A year later in June of 2016, we welcomed our beautiful baby girl Laniya Danielle into this world. Life couldn't get any better... oh, but it did! Later on in 2020, we found out we were pregnant again with another beautiful baby girl. While we were expecting, we made a big move, literally. We bought our first home in December 2020! It was such an exciting time and we were so thankful and blessed to be able to give our girls a place to call home! March came around and our family was complete with the birth of Delanie Andrea. We couldn't be any happier, except my finger was feeling a little light. Fast forward to May of 2025, Andre decided to make it official! In front of my family and his parents on Facetime, he popped the big question while we were on our trip in California! Of course I said YES immediately! Our girls were present and it was a core memory for all of us! Now here we are planning a wedding and ready to party and celebrate with all our loved ones! ____________________________________________________________________________ Nos conocimos por primera vez en septiembre de 2008 gracias a una amiga. Mi amiga me dijo: “¡Tengo a un chico guapo que quiero que conozcas! ¡Arréglate!” ¡Y claro que lo hice! Fuimos al apartamento de nuestro amigo Sean y pasamos el rato. Casi todos los días nos reuníamos allí con otros amigos, jugando COD y cartas (spades). Después de un par de semanas, por fin intercambiamos números y empezamos a enviarnos mensajes y a llamarnos todo el tiempo. Nos gustábamos, pero nos hicimos los difíciles por un tiempo… para ser exactos, ¡4 años! Sin embargo, durante esos 4 años siempre estábamos juntos. De repente, ya estábamos en la cena de Acción de Gracias en casa de su familia como pareja. Ambos encajamos perfectamente con nuestras familias. Decidimos mudarnos juntos en 2015 a nuestro primer apartamento en Boysenberry Dr. Un año después, en junio de 2016, le dimos la bienvenida a nuestra hermosa niña, Laniya Danielle. La vida no podía ser mejor… ¡pero sí lo fue! Más adelante, en 2020, nos enteramos de que estábamos esperando otra hermosa niña. Mientras esperábamos, hicimos un gran cambio, literalmente. ¡Compramos nuestra primera casa en diciembre de 2020! Fue un momento muy emocionante y estábamos tan agradecidos y bendecidos de poder darles a nuestras niñas un lugar al que llamar hogar. Llegó marzo y nuestra familia se completó con el nacimiento de Delanie Andrea. No podíamos estar más felices… aunque mi dedo se sentía un poco vacío. Avanzando hasta mayo de 2025, ¡Andre decidió hacerlo oficial! Frente a mi familia y a sus padres por FaceTime, me hizo la gran pregunta durante nuestro viaje a California. ¡Por supuesto que dije SÍ inmediatamente! Nuestras niñas estuvieron presentes y fue un recuerdo inolvidable para todos nosotros. Y ahora aquí estamos, planeando la boda y listos para celebrar y festejar con todos nuestros seres queridos.
