Brenay and Dwight met in 2014 through a mutual friend. It was a time in their lives when they were carefree and having a lot of fun, with their friends, and loved ones. Through the good vibes and late nights at El Bar, Brenay and Dwight were quickly forming a bond. When Dwight moved to Miami for work, it solidified their love for each other and their relationship blossomed. The distance between them truly made their hearts grow fonder. Brenay and Dwight would make plans to see each other despite the miles between them. With both of them being creative people and creative adjacent, they continued to uncover how much they had in common. Dwight has learned so many things from Brenay about the art of cooking and taking care of a home and Brenay has picked up so many things from Dwight about business, entrepreneurship, and trusting yourself through the process. Brenay and Dwight beat the odds of long distance and continued their relationship in Atlanta Georgia, where they decided to start thinking about a future. The couple moved from Atlanta, to Dallas, and landed in Dwight’s home city, Los Angeles. As a couple Brenay and Dwight enjoy Art, music, dancing, laughter, working out, discussions about Faith, and just spending quality time together. After 10 years of dating and learning and growing with each other, Dwight proposed to Brenay in the most magical way. He surprised Brenay in Atlanta Georgia when she was visiting friends and family, having partnered with, Brenay’s twin sister and family, he set up a beautiful scene. With the song Cherish the day playing in the background, Dwight did just that. On the dock of the Chattahoochee River, where the pair spent so much time over the years, he asked her to be his wife. Naturally full of emotions she responded with an overwhelming yes. Brenay felt like she was living in an answered prayer. The couple credits God for bringing them together. It was at the right time, hanging with the right friends, meeting the right person, under the right circumstances that they fell in love and look forward to spending the rest of their lives together.
