We tried hard to be very specific on invitations so that there is no confusion. As much as we love your kids, unless we specifically named them, it's probably best to leave them at home.
Yes! There will be a shuttle from the Marriott Marquis to the venue. Look for signage in the lobby.
If you have multiple guests in your party with one or more of the listed allergies/food intolerance(s), just write the number on the line next to the allergy. We are making dinner a breeze so we can get on to the most important part: dancing. We promise you'll love it.
Cocktail attire. If Brennan had his way, you'd all be in tuxedos and ball gowns, but you can go ahead and leave that to the bride and groom.
If you haven't gathered it by now, our favorite neighborhood in the city is ours: Wicker Park. The area is super walkable and has some of the best bars (and restaurants) in the city. Logan Square is a great hip neighborhood with great food and drinks as well. Bucktown is a slightly quieter, more family-friendly version of Wicker Park. NOTE: These neighborhoods are a drive to our venue, but shouldn't be more than 15-30 minutes depending on the specific location. BUT. If you're looking for a traditional downtown experience closer to our wedding venue, you can't miss by staying in River North. It is a hub for dining and gets you closer to all the more touristy places you've heard about in Chicago. It also will be a quick Uber/cab ride to the venue.
Yes! We are registered right here on the Zola website. If you can't find anything that fits your style, cash is always in style.
If your invitation has "and guest," or the name of your partner, absolutely; we want them there. If not, please come make friends!
There is some street parking near the venue, but we are serving plenty of cocktails and highly encourage rideshare, taxi, or livery service rather than driving yourself to the big party.
