Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony starts at 3:00 PM. Please plan to arrive by 2:30 PM to allow time for parking, walking, and seating at the venue.

Is there parking at the ceremony and reception?

Answer

For the ceremony, please park all cars facing the Chapel in rows. Day parking is available at Redfish Lake Lodge for the reception. There is also parking down at the trailhead parking, if for some reason there weren’t enough at the lodge. Trailhead parking is about ¼ mile away.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors at the Stanley Meditation Chapel. The ceremony will have no opportunities for shade, so please plan accordingly. The reception will take place at Redfish Lake Lodge in a tent outdoors.

What time is the reception over?

Answer

Due to noise restrictions at Redfish Lake, we are required to have the music off by 9pm. However, guests may join others in the rustic lounge located in the lodge and sit by the fire -the bar is open until midnight.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dressy Casual/Mountain Chic; We recommend polished but comfortable attire suitable for a mountain setting. Please plan for cooler evening temperatures and uneven terrain.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests listed on the invitation.

Is there transportation to and from Stanley?

Answer

For the day of the wedding, there will be two 15 passenger shuttle vans. Shuttles start one hour before wedding time. After the wedding reception, shuttles can take guests to town at 9 pm and 10 pm.

Cell service can be limited in the area. Please plan accordingly.
