Two newly-graduated teachers on their first day of "school" were touring Orange, New Jersey on a yellow school bus for an overview of their school's town. Both of them trying to make small talk while simultaneously and outrageously nervous about starting their careers -- They never would have guessed that eight years later they would be planning their wedding. What started out as eating lunch in Megan's classroom would turn into a weekly tradition of getting pizza to-go and enjoy in different parks throughout the pandemic. If you ask Zach about our relationship early on, he swears that Megan did NOT like him at all at first and only *tolerated* him in her classroom. However, if you ask Megan (who is always right) she welcomed Zach with open arms to his questionable cuisine and random history facts as she anxiously made her lesson plans. We both may tell the beginning of our story differently, but we do agree that we found our rhythm somewhere in-between grading essays, chugging way too much caffeine, and arguing over the next pizza spot. Some things that will never change as the years go by are our messy craft tables, spontaneous hikes that end with big laughs, and our unwavering love for each other. After five years of dating, we are so excited to start this next adventure--getting married! We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with you.
