Sabino Canyon Recreational Area is a short 5-minute drive from Loews Ventana Canyon! The soaring mountains, deep canyons, and unique plants and animals of the Sonoran Desert, draw a million visitors a year to the Sabino Canyon Recreational Area. Start at the visitor center which provides plenty of wildlife and trailside interpretive information. Grab a coffee at the coffee truck and start hiking up the road through the canyons or hike a trail- Phoneline, 7 falls, and Blacketts are all of Haley & Parker’s favorites, but not easy! The total mileage to the top from the main road is around 7 miles. If walking does not stir your sense of adventure, take the Tram and enjoy the view!
