We’re Getting Married!

In 2018, we both started our freshman year at DMACC in Ankeny. Brian was not a Christian at the time, but decided to join a Bible study on campus that Caitlin happened to be in. Caitlin wasn’t a fan at first, but over time, after watching him become a Christian, her heart softened towards him. A few years later, they served on staff for their college ministry and became really good friends. In 2022, Caitlin moved to West Des Moines for a job opportunity, but they stayed good friends. In 2023, Brian moved to Radcliffe to also pursue a job opportunity, and they slowly lost touch. But, long story short, much to Caitlin’s surprise, Brian moved back to Des Moines a year later and reconnected with her. After 6 years of friendship, Brian finally had the courage to ask his college crush out. Caitlin said yes, and here we are today, with a ring on her finger and a lifetime of friendship ahead.
