FAQs

We're so excited to have you at our ceremony! If you have any further questions, feel free to shoot Brianna or Greg a text. We will continue to update this site once plans become more solidified.
Question

Why California?

Answer

After visiting Sequoia in 2018, we were absolutely smitten with the beauty of Sequoia National Park. It was just one of those things that felt right! We can't wait to get married surrounded by our closest friends and family in one of the most breathtaking places on Earth.

Question

When are you both arriving in California?

Answer

We plan on flying out to California on Saturday May 28th, and departing on Wednesday June 1st.

Question

How will flights be coordinated?

Answer

We recommend you choose whatever works best for your schedule and preferences.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

As of right now we recommend renting a car. Carpooling/ car sharing will be determined at a later date.

Question

How far away is the venue from the airport?

Answer

If you plan on flying into Fresno (FAT), Redwood Ranch is approximately 1 hour and 34 minutes (82.9 mi) from the airport. The wedding ceremony venue is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes (32.4 mi) from Redwood Ranch.

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Weather in the High Sierra can be unpredictable. Flurries, rain, and heat are all possible. Wear something comfortable for these conditions. The ceremony spot will be a just a bit off the path so use caution when selecting footwear!

Question

What is the transportation situation to the ceremony?

Answer

To be determined. We are looking at renting a shuttle of some kind.

Question

Will there be any other planned events or activities?

Answer

Any events will be listed on the "Schedule Page". We have not finalized any activites, but we do plan on hosting dinner every night at the Ranch. There is plenty of space at the ranch for activities: "Four miles to the southern entrance of Sequoia National Park with great hiking trails, high mountain meadows, and giant groves of Sequoia trees. There is approximately 1800 feet of riverfront with many great boulders to lay on, breathtaking tranquil and secluded swimming holes. The hiking/jogging/walking trail that loops around the property offers an exhilarating view of a valley of mountains surrounding you. With cattle, donkeys, goats, peacocks, chickens and dogs, the ranch is a fun and entertaining place for kids to play around and explore."
