One day in third grade I walked in to a new seating arrangement, and the kid next to me was reading the same book, Eragon. That year we worked together on every project imaginable and quickly grew a bond that lasted a lifetime. From baking a castle cake, to building recycled robots, even trying to trap leprechauns. We started doing everything together. Hopefully you are no longer mad about my tricks during the class auction to get you to spend all your money on markers so I could outbid you on the final item - Panda. After that eventful year, we have always been friends, no matter what school we went to or how much time apart. I know that we can always come back together and no time will have passed.

George Fox University really did something right putting us both in Willcuts 314 freshman year. Thanks to Devin, I learned that college was not just about classes and track, but getting to know others and making connections. Who else knew that in my free time I could meet new people and play games rather than stay in my dorm playing video games. Without Devin, I would not have been able to meet so many people at my time at GFU, nor would I have been able to borrow a senior's cars just to visit Breeya during our first year of major distance. Devin truly is one of the reasons why Breeya and I stuck it through 4 years of living 250 miles apart.
