Mitchell and Ashley’s love story began in May of 2022. Mitchell was out at Brothers Bar and Grill with a group of high school friends to watch the Milwaukee Bucks game. Meanwhile, Ashley was heading out to celebrate her best friend Gina’s birthday. Their plan was to catch the Bucks game at the popular Deer District outside the stadium. As fate would have it, Ashley and her friends weren’t allowed in due to the purse policy—so they ended up at the very same bar as Mitchell and his friends. Even better, their groups already knew each other. Gina and Mitchell’s friend Nick were convinced the two would be a perfect match. Ashley, however, was hesitant about being set up and brushed it off—at least until she saw Mitchell walking toward their group. Jokingly, she said, “I’ll only agree if it’s that guy.” Lucky for both of them, it was. They spent the rest of the evening together, and continued building their relationship throughout the summer. A short period of long distance while Ashley lived in Charleston, SC only strengthened their commitment and love for one another. Fast forward almost four years, and Ashley and Mitchell have shared countless memories together—from fun vacations and morning walks around the Third Ward, to local festivals and a few very competitive games of cribbage. They can’t wait to celebrate their love with their closest family and friends.
