We're getting married!

Corbyn was in Idaho visiting family for a couple weeks before he left to live in Illinois. We met each other through an online dating app. At first, neither of us were very interested. But we talked online for about a week. One day I was hanging out with my dog outside on the trampoline and sending pictures to Corbyn. He messaged me back saying he was going to come see my dog and hang out with us. (He brought me tacos, immediately fell in love haha) We took my dog on a walk and pretty much just talked the whole time. We clicked instantly.

After Corbyn moved to Illinois for work, we immediately started making plans for me to go see him. I went and saw him February of 2022. We made plans to go to a super fancy restaurant, but I didn't have my vaccination card. So instead we found a semi-nice restaurant (a slight step higher than Applebee's) But again, apparently you had to have your vaccination card. Then we were going to go to the Willis Tower, but all of the spots were booked already. And Corbyn said "You know what, there's this bar my buddies and I go to a couple towns over, let's just go there" So we show up to this small Mexican bar dressed like we're going to a red carpet event. I asked Corbyn to get me a drink. When the waitress brings it to me, I notice a small glimpse of sparkly on the drink. The ring was on the straw. Corbyn grabbed it and got down on one knee and proposed. Obviously I said yes. The whole bar started applauding and cheering for us, and it was one of the most fun nights for the both of us.
