Glad my Someone is You!

After three long days of travel, a cross country journey and a shower I returned to New York with no furniture and no food. Hayden offered to take me up to Sacandaga Lake for the night and feed me. I have never tasted a meal so good. And after that we were hooked. By the end of 2018 we had move in together. Been together ever since.

When we met we both already both had children, Coleman 14, Daegan 13, and Lilliana 11. It seemed easy as we joined together to make one family accepting each other and growing together. A lot has happened since that beginning. I have learned to cook thanks to Hayden and I’m sure everyone’s bellies are thankful. We have also had two of our own children together since we met. Jaxden who is now 3 born in March 2020 and Skyler who is 1 1/2 born in May of 2022. Going through the adventure of being coming parents together has had many dimensions to our relationship. With the 7 of us it feels like our family is complete.

Hayden without my knowledge went a bought a ring. He thought it looked like the diamond castle ring from the grinch. He carried it around for what he describes as “forever. Showing every person we knew and trying to figure out an epic and romantic way to ask me to marry him. Finally on a random rainy day in June the ring just got to heavy in his pocket and he was sick of waiting. He asked me to come out on to our deck and sit on a chair he was drying. When I did he dropped the towel on the ground got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. With tears and rain rolling down my face a choked out a "YES," and we were engaged. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in November!

We have both recently committed our lives to the Lord, as individuals. This has in no way made us perfect but in a miraculous way it is transforming us as people, as partners, and as parents. Together as a couple we are pursing the Lord.
