Luke and Breeanna were set up on a date by the Holmes, and from that moment on, they have tried to spend every moment together. They actually went to the same middle school and even shared mutual friends from church—but it wasn’t until January of 2025 that the Lord brought them into each other’s lives in such a meaningful way. While Breeanna was still living in Norman, Luke made countless long drives back and forth for date nights. From the National Pigeon Association show to long walks around campus, they fell in love. Through it all, they’ve continued to grow together in their relationship with the Lord and in learning how to love one another better each day. On November 7, 2025, Luke proposed to Breeanna at a very special place—the pond on the Dreessen land. It’s a spot filled with cherished memories of walking the land, dreaming about their future together, and continuing a beloved family tradition, as Luke’s cousins also proposed to their now wives at that same pond. Their engagement has been such a sweet season of preparation, and they are so excited for the life the Lord has planned for them.
