Wedding Party

Meet our friends and family who are walking down the aisle with us.

Sarah Ahmed

Maid of Honor

"I met Bree about 3 years ago when we were both in the same new hire training group. We both were struggling to figure out the coffee machine in the break room and that led to a lot of laughs and a new friendship. We both bonded over our love for shopping and traveling and the rest was history. "

Jean Welton-Richardson

Best Man

"Sophomore year of high school (Greenway, 2007) for me was when I met my future brother. Was it ironic that my older brother had a best friend that was Asian and I too now have one? Is it even crazier that we would go on to be more than best friends, but brothers that even over the years we still have funny stories to tell about the good, the bad, the weird and embarrassing. If anyone told me that someone in high school will become more than family to me, I would most likely think that person is lying; however, looking back all those years, I can say I am truly grateful for meeting Tu and seeing his evolution from the multiple hair colored kid I met to the man he is now."

Bridesmaid

I met Bree when we sat next to each other at work. We ended up going on a trip to California together even though we barely knew each other. From there, we learned that we are basically the same person. One of my favorite things about Bree is her kind heart and the fact that she once stopped in the middle of a busy road to try to save a rat running in the street. We have been on adventures including hiking the Subway slot canyon, ice climbing, and assisting in a duck rescue. I hope that we keep up our regular girls nights and resume the book club that we once started!

Tu and I met back in high school in 2011. I think... haha. It feels like we have been brothers forever, and I'm glad we met back up at Uni-town so that I can be apart of this major event in his life! One of the best memories I’ve had with Tu was when he asked me to help him with his movie. That is something that really connected us with our passion for movies. I want to act and for him to direct. I wish Tu and his beautiful wife-to-be, Breeanna, the absolute best in the many years to come. I can't wait to see whats next! Congrats to you both.

Growing up, Bree & I did everything together. We were always playing in our Grandpa's backyard using our wildest imagination. One of my favorite memories was when we turned our Grandpa's hunting trailer into a club house & only certain people were allowed. As we got older & became busy with our own lives, our friendship never changed. No matter what, we were always there for each other through heartaches & times of celebration. Bree is a truly amazing example to me, and we always have a good time! I’m so blessed to have a cousin who will always be my best friend (she doesn’t really have a choice). Im so happy she met a man who is so good to her. She deserves all the happiness in the world! I’m excited to spend her special day by her side. To many more life adventures. Love you, Bree!

Tu and I met and started our friendship in my hip hop dance class at Royal Dance Works. I remember once when Tu was in rehearsal and went to throw another dancer in a pitch flip (where the other guy flips out of your hands) and the guy's shoe slaps Tu right in the chin mid-flip. It sounded like someone slapped a belt as hard as they could on someone's bare butt making that perfect crisp leather on skin slap sound! We all stood there in amazement that Tu wasn't laying on the ground. We were starring at him and asking him if he was okay. As the echo of the shoe slap faded away, Tu just went, "I'm good, let's do it again." That's when I knew he'd be an O.G.

Bridesmaid

"Bree and I are "best" cousins. We grew up playing barbies, house, school, etc. But our favorite game was "mystery" where we were basically ghost hunters. We had note pads to write down clues and rode our "horses," aka bicycles, around the neighborhood. We always had so much fun growing up. Now, of course, we are still close and continue to bond over scary movies and our love for our little chihuahuas!"

Mitchell Wilburn

Groomsman

When we were in high school, one day our friend Josh said, "Tu this is Mitch, Mitch this is Tu," and from then on we would all hang out at Josh's house after school and on the weekends. One of my favorite memories was on Josh's 21st birthday. We all went to Las Vegas, and stayed at the Hooters Hotel and Casino. We were all playing roulette and Tu decided he wanted to try his luck at Craps. Not even 2 minutes later, he came back to the roulette table. When Josh and I asked what happened he said, "I lost." I said, "You barely over there for a minute." Then he said, " I don't know, I lost," and we all died laughing.

Chandra Russen

Bridesmaid

"Bree and I are both cousins and friends. We grew up together having many sleep-overs and play dates. Some of my fondest memories are our adventures we had playing outside Bree's house. I will never forget playing in the ditch when it was full of water and driving down her lane in our toy Jeep playing cops and robbers. Oh, and I could never forget our Furby collection!"

Art Uzarraga

Groomsman

"Tu and I actually met twice. First in a Jazz history class, and we actually didn't hit it off. Second was on my first week at Quik Trip where I realized why we didn't hit it off before. Tu is a strong character with amazing focus and dedication and a fine example of a good leader in the workplace. One of the best days of my life was such a simple one. Tu and I went to a bar/grill called DaddyO's and we just talked until about 3AM. That wasn't the last first or last time that we just jabbered on for ever without a care for anything else. He is a good man, and I am prod to be his friend."

Hadden Huntsman

Ring Bearer

I've had so many great memories with my sister over the years. One of my favorite memories that included Bree and Tu was driving to St. George with them to attend the play "A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder" at the the Tuacahn Theater. We spent an entire weekend down there just having fun and spending time together. I am happy for the both of them, and I am so glad that Tu drove 12 hours just to meet my sister. He is a great guy for Bree and he is an awesome example. Cheers! --Hadden (the little bro)
