FAQs

Here are some tips for you on our big day!
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We will be having an outdoor ceremony, so dress accordingly for New England fall weather in semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies — Please refrain from wearing white or ivory.

Question

Can we take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Sure! Just please be mindful of our awesome photographer Ally and dont ruin her shot!

Question

Speaking of pictures.....can you send us one of yours?

Answer

Married couples - can you send Bree a picture of you on your wedding day with your anniversary date? You can email it to BreeEicher@gmail.com or text her at 860-944-0168

Question

What's the plan for the reception?

Answer

The reception is on site at the ceremony location. Our amazing DJ - Paul - will keep us on our feet all night, so bring your best dancing shoes and maybe some Advil. Yes, there WILL be "organized dancing" — think Uptown Funk, Wobble, Cupid Shuffle, Cotton Eye Joe and other coordinated chaos. So if you haven’t practiced since your cousin’s wedding in 2011... now’s the time. SORRY NOT SORRY, JAMES! You knew what you were getting yourself into!

Question

What's for dinner?

Answer

We have several food options - including vegan and gluten free- and our venue is very accommodating. If you have any food allergies or aversions, please let us know before 9-20-2026

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We’d absolutely love to celebrate with everyone! Due to venue and planning limitations, we can only accommodate the guests who are specifically named on the invitation. If your invitation lists “The Smith Family” or “John Smith and Kate Wells,” those are the guests we’ve planned for. Thank you so much for understanding.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We adore your little ones! However, we are planning a mostly adults-only celebration. We are making exceptions for children of the wedding party and for families traveling from out of state who may have difficulty arranging childcare. We truly hope you understand and are still able to join us.

Question

What time do we REALLY need to be there?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 1:30 PM. We kindly ask that all guests be seated before that time. To avoid disrupting the ceremony, guests who arrive after 1:30 PM will be asked to wait in their vehicle or in another designated area at the venue until the ceremony has concluded.

Question

What happens if I don’t RSVP?

Answer

If we don’t receive your RSVP by the deadline of September 1st, we will assume you’re unable to attend and won’t be able to include you in our final guest count. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to accommodate unconfirmed guests, so please be sure to RSVP on time if you plan to celebrate with us.
