LAX is the closest and largest international airport to Santa Barbara. The drive from LAX to Santa Barbara is 100 miles/2 hours on average. However, considering traffic landing in LAX between 2-5PM could increase your drive time to 3+ hours.

A smaller international airport that is slightly closer to Santa Barbara (1.5-2 hours/average) that may help you avoid traffic jams in LAX area

Other Airport Options

John Wayne International Airport (Orange County) or Ontario International Airport are located just outside of Los Angeles in neighboring cities. They are smaller airports, though expect to travel further and through more traffic with these options (3-4.5 hours to Santa Barbara)

Train

Los Angeles or Orange County to Santa Barbara

Amtrak is a great option from LAX/Burbank or Orange County. Round trip tickets start at $60 and depart all day between locations. The most direct trains are going to be leaving from: 1000 East Santa Ana Blvd. Santa Ana, CA 92701 (Near John Wayne Airport) 800 North Alameda Street. Los Angeles, CA 90012-2902 (Near LAX/Burbank)

We will be staying at the Mar Monte and have a select number of rooms reserved for interested guests. The Mar Monte will be a main pick up and drop off location for our shuttle service the day of the ceremony.

We recommend you pick a hotel that is located near the "Funk Zone" as ubers can at times have long wait times in SB. This town is very accessible by bike, scooter, trolly or walking!

A shuttle will be running beginning at 315PM the day of the wedding and running through the end of the event. Pick up/Drop off spots: Mar Monte Hotel & Hilton Santa Barbara Beach Front. YOU CANNOT PARK AT THE VENUE SO PLEASE USE OUR TRANSPORTATION OR RIDE-SHARE OPTIONS.
