There are so many great things to do in the greater Truckee and Tahoe area. From outdoor recreation to food, drinks, and shopping, you are sure to find fun close by!

Lake Tahoe is a unique and beautiful place, this is why we live in this area. There is hiking, biking, beaches, boating, and more. From the lodge Tahoe City (our town) is a little over a half hour away but if you are going for the iconic crystal blue water with the big boulders, the East Shore and Emerald Bay are gorgeous areas.

Donner is ten minutes from the lodge and a great way to spend the afternoon if you are looking for something relaxing and beautiful.

Historic downtown Truckee has shopping, food, and all the sparkle of a mountain town.

There are so many great hikes in this area. There is a PCT entrance right by the lodge and Castle Peak is not far away. All Trails is a great app that gives hiking options in the area with length and difficulty.
