Our Story
While home on the East Coast during Covid we were connected and started FaceTiming through lockdown. Not a single day went by that we didn't have some great conversation keeping each other from going stir crazy. Three months later, the world started to come back to life and we could finally go on our first date! It all started on a hike through Roanoke Rapids in good ole North Carolina followed by the only place open to eat, Chik-Fil-A.. We sat in the car for hours not knowing how much time had passed, just so happy to finally be face to face. Every time we looked at each other we couldn't stop smiling! From that moment on, we were inseparable and each other's other half. Four years later almost to the day, Douglas asked me to dance in our living room and suddenly was down on one knee.. We both knew that day in Roanoke Rapids we had met our person and we're so excited to celebrate our love with the people we love most!
