Welcome to our wedding website! We cannot wait to share our special day with you!

Our love story began April 1, 2014 after meeting at the place we have all called home at one point or another — Texas Traditions aka The Spur. While our families have always been connected in some way most of our lives thanks to Dorla and Mike, I do not think anyone ever expected us to fall in love…I am not sure we did either. It did not take long though for either of us to realize our connection was undeniable. What we thought would just be a fling turned into a relationship filled with love, trust, respect, and loyalty. While Brent was the initiator AND said “I love you” first, he would say I was definitely not hard to get. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t. We realized very quickly that we had way more in common than one would ever think. We both share a love for a night out at the boats in Shreveport, something we try to give back to ourselves when we can. We are content with a life lived minimally and prefer the company we are surrounded by over anything that money can buy. We both have a passion for good food, pasta and sushi at the top of that list, and have found that our fondest memories have been made during our regular dinner dates. We are both suckers for a good excuse to lay in bed and watch a good movie or tv show, Brent usually picks this for us. We also both bonded over our strong connections to our families, something we both value and cherish more than anything. In our 10 years together we have learned a lot from each other and built a beautiful life surrounded by the support and love from our family and friends. As we reflect back on the chapters previously written in our story, we can’t help but feel excited and hopeful for the chapters yet to come. We have waited 10 long years for this, but hey, better late than never! As the day quickly approaches, we want to thank you for the continued love and support you have shown to us. We are so ready to meet each other at the alter and to have you share this day with us!
