Where is the destination wedding ?

Answer

Our destination wedding will be hosted at Moon Palace the Grand in Cancun, Mexico. This is an all-inclusive resort that's only 15 minutes away from the Cancun Airport and located at: Chetumal Km. 36.5, 77500 Cancún, Q.R., Mexico

Is a passport required ?

Answer

Yes. Our wedding destination will be hosted in an international country and therefore, a passport will be required for all attendees. Please make note that a passport card is NOT acceptable for international air travel and therefore, persons traveling with a passport card will be denied entry into Mexico at airport customs. It is strongly advised to get a passport for this trip.

Is roundtrip airport transportation available to the resort?

Yes. The resort provides complimentary round trip shared airport transportation with your 4-night stay. If you are staying less than 4-nights please let me know so that I can further assist you with locating affordable RT airport transportation.

Is airfare included ?

Answer

No. Since many of our guests will be traveling from different states, airfare is NOT included in the room rates and therefore, flights will need to be purchased separately. For lower rates, I personally recommend purchasing flights in advance and prior to the summer season if possible. Keep in mind you can also finance your flight through "Buy now, pay later" options like Affirm, Klarna, Paypal Credit and alternative flight websites.

Are the room rates based on single or double occupancy?

Answer

All room rates are based upon double occupancy. Besides children (17 and under), any additional persons in the room will result in additional charges. If you are a single traveler, it is strongly advised to find a travel partner to room with to split the overall room cost at $1,148 per person. In the event you are a single traveler. You will be subjected to the same room rates available for double occupants because the hotel offers "room rates" opposed to rates "per person".

Are kids welcome to attend?

Answer

Yes, all of our friends and family that have been cordially invited are welcome to attend. Most importantly, children (ages 17 and under) are FREE to stay at the all-inclusive resort and attend our wedding ceremony.

Approximately how much will it cost me to attend your destination wedding ?

Answer

The room rates are based upon double occupancy at the nightly rate of $576. Our room block for our guest consists of a 4-night stay for a total of $2296. This price does NOT include airfare and neither is it mandatory for you to stay 4-nights. The nightly rate will be adjusted accordingly based upon how many nights you decide to stay . Depending on your airport departure location, airfare is currently priced around $500. Therefore, if you are adults traveling in pairs, it will approximately cost $1648 per person between airfare and your 4-night hotel stay (guesstimating RT airfare at $500). As for children (Ages 17 and under); only the cost of an airline ticket is required since children are welcomed to stay at the resort for FREE.

With advanced notice, yes. If you plan on bringing an additional guest please be sure to notify us accordingly to ensure that we have them including in our total guest count.

The following pricing information is for the Grand Moon Palace hotel stay only and is based upon a 4-night stay for two people from 9/25/25 - 9/29/25 is $2,296. Feel free to reserve now and pay later. Children ages 17 and under are FREE. Please make note that it is NOT mandatory to stay 4-nights. You are welcomed to stay as many nights as you would like at the rate of $574 (per night).
