MIC Restaurant in Sudbury is where our story began back in 2016—she was working as a hostess, I was in the kitchen as a cook, and somewhere between busy shifts and shared laughs, we became part of each other's story. But like every good Hallmark movie, this was the chapter before the love story. It’s always held a special place for us, not just for the memories but for the amazing food—especially those unforgettable cheese sticks.
Twiggs is where we met again six years later—proof that timing really is everything. What started as a casual catch-up quickly turned into hours over incredible coffee and desserts. Somewhere between the first sip and the last bite, it felt like our story had picked up right where it was meant to.
Lake Laurentian Conservation Area is where we had our second date. Surrounded by quiet trails, we got to know each other a little more with every step. With breathtaking scenery and fresh air, it is the type of place you want to slow down and take it all in. In the fall especially, it feels almost magical, with the colours wrapping everything in warmth. It is truly a jewel of Northern Ontario.
