We are getting hitched!

The lockdown didn't stop us. We ditched the masks and met up for a drink at a beachside cafe in San Diego. We ordered margaritas and tacos and bellied up to an outdoor table. When It got cold and I needed a jacket, my puffer jacket was way too tight with the big sweater I had on, but it didn't matter. I had already decided that I was showing up 100% me, wet hair from the shower and all. I had canceled the other two dates I had planned (just in case anyone backed out-they didn't) and chose the person I had the best conversation with over the phone. When he walked up I knew he was the one I wanted to call mine. He said the same, that when he drove by and saw me sitting in my car waiting for him, he knew "this was going somewhere". So here we are planning our wedding after the most amazing proposal that he planned as a huge surprise in our favorite place to unwind, Ocotillo Wells, overlooking the desert.
