Holly and Hannah's friendship has lasted well over a decade, from middle school to adulthood and everything in between! If you ask Holly, she'll tell you it all started when awkward little Hannah asked her if her "lipstick was rubbed in" back at Christine's Dance recital in like, 2006. Before you knew it they were "staying at each other's houses" but really sneaking off to cornfields and barn parties they shouldn't have been at. (To our parents... don't act like you didn't know!)
Kris Brinker
Best Man
Kris and Brandon have been through everything together. Starting as best buds at K-12 Andrew school, then attending University Of Iowa together, being roommates for several years, even landing jobs as software engineers as the same company after college. Kris's claim to fame is winning 1st place Star Wars Trivia on a Caribbean Cruise.
Kally Frame
Maid of Honor
Kally and Hannah's friendship began before Hannah had any say in it. :) Kally first babysat Hannah when she was just a baby, but over the years the two became more like sisters. Half the time Hannah didn't even need a babysitter, she just always found excuses to go the Frames' house to hang out. Decades later, through good times and bad Kally is still the best friend/big sister ever!
Brock Wagner

Brock is Brandon's one and only sibling. They have been through thick and thin, from the childhood days of exploring the woods together, playing on the same sports teams, deer hunting every year, and traveling to their favorite music concerts all over (Hinterland Festival, Billy Bobs Fort Worth, Red Rocks Amphitheater). Brock once broke the Andrew baseball record for longest hit foul ball.
Rebecca Kopelman
Bridesmaid
Rebecca and Hannah quickly became friends while both working at KGAN together and even became roommates for a while. She's the official meteorologist of Hannah Brecht Photography and now the Brecht Wagner wedding. Rebecca has always been the most supportive friend and is always there when you need her. She's also not afraid to put Brandon in his place when needed, including encouraging him to buy a ring.
Corey Manders
Groomsman
Corey and Brandon first met in 3rd grade when they were assigned to share a locker together. Ever since, they have been best buds -- throughout high school and college at Iowa. They have stayed close even after Corey moved out of state, having visiting each other in Indianapolis, Nashville, and Chicago, among other places. Corey claims one of his biggest life achievements was befriending country music superstar Phil Vassar.
Mia O'Brien

Mia is partially why this big party is happening! Mia and Hannah have been close friends ever since they met at KGAN. This girl can talk sports like its her job- oh wait, it is! :) She has agreed to come all the way from Jacksonville, Florida for this celebration. Years ago Hannah woke up after a wedding to finding out yet another close friend was engaged. Both single at the time, Mia laughed. Hannah promised, "I am making you be a bridesmaid at my wedding one day!" And here we are!
Bobby Petersen

Bobby and Brandon became friends in college at Iowa, and have spent even more time together since as they have toured around the state for their band Catfish Murphy. The two share common interests in music, craft beer, and hot sauce. Bobby's many talents include playing guitar, waterskiing, tik-tok, and driving forklift.
Savannah Williams

Hannah has known Savannah since she was born. When Savannah lived in Norway, Hannah would once again find any excuse she could to go to the Frame house to see her. Their names have gotten mixed up many, many times over the years, so don't be surprised if you say one of our names and we both look. Savannah has also taken on Hannah's love for horses, and she is a natural with them!
Shawn Bowling

Shawn and Brandon have been friends since early elementary school at Andrew. Their friendship has endured to this day, despite one fateful night a couple years ago at a sportsbar where they witnessed Shawn's Minnesota Vikings beat Brandon's New Orleans Saints in the NFL playoffs with a 'Minneapolis Miracle'. Shawn's hobbies include smoking meats, chili cookoffs, and popping wheelies on his motorcycle.
Karli Showers

Karli began dating Hannah's brother Aron a few years ago and is one of the kindest people we know. She has quickly fit in with the family, proudly cheering for the St. Louis Cardinals. Except for this one time at Sluggers in Chicago, when she outshone the whole Brecht family by hitting like 4 homeruns in a row.
Patrick Mcareavy

Patrick and Brandon became friends at a party in college at Iowa when they discussed their mutual respect for the music of 'Hootie and the Blowfish'. They have been friends ever since, traveling to visit each other despite Patrick living several states away for a period of time (Mississippi and Pennsylvania). Patrick's favorite hobby is managing his fantasy baseball team and watching Jon Taffer's TV series 'Bar Rescue'.
Hannah Davidson

Hannah is the girlfriend of Hannah's brother, Taylor. Yes, this gets confusing but its worth it! She is sweet, funny, and kind hearted. It's been so much fun having her along for my family's concert, sporting event, and beer drinking shenanigans. However, she's also amazing at roasting Taylor- which Hannah the bride greatly appreciates.
Rob Maharry

Brandon met Rob one night during their college days in Iowa City and they hit it off. Rob and Brandon spend a lot of time together practicing and working on songs for their band Catfish Murphy. Rob once ate 30 tacos in one sitting back in college at a local bar's all-you-can-eat taco night.
Anna Kahle
Bridesmaid
Hannah babysat Anna for years, but it was often a toss up on who the mature one was. Anna's family took her on vacations with them where they created countless memories and inside jokes. Thank goodness Dan and Shari Kahle were very laid back. Especially after the time Hannah was watching Anna in a hotel room in Florida, and from across the street they could see them jumping on the beds and taking pictures.
Mike Howell

Mike is credited with the reason why Hannah and Brandon met. After they became roommates, Mike invited Brandon out to hang out with his work friends from KGAN. During one of these outings Brandon first met Mike's co-worker Hannah, and the rest is history. Mike and Brandon once met Brett Farve on a trip to Green Bay Wisconsin.
Aron Brecht
Usher
Aron is Hannah's older brother and middle child of the Brecht family. He is one of the funniest people we know! He never turns down a good time or the opportunity to lend a helping hand. He and Brandon have bonded over the years over their shared hobby of drumming, but that camaraderie was once jeopardized over a late night debate in Chicago over the MLB shift. IYKYK :)
Taylor Brecht

Taylor is Hannah's oldest brother and eldest of the Brecht siblings. He is a gifted coach and educator at Alburnett Elementary School. Like Brandon and Hannah, he is also an avid live music fan. Funny story- before Hannah and Brandon began dating, Taylor met Brandon at a Turnpike Troubadours concert and they were wearing the same Whiskey Myers t-shirt. They greeted each other with a big high five and one of those guy hugs. Who would've thought we'd be here 5 years later??
