We're getting married!

We met on Twitter in the beginning of 2018. Tae sent me a message, encouraging me to continue to trust God’s timing with everything in my life. He also shared how inspired he was by the messages that I would share on social media to influence others to keep their faith in God. A few weeks later, he asked if we could become friends and the rest is history. We found out that we both were born and raised in DC. and that we also went to the same High school (Cesar Chavez) but different campuses. We became friends in February of 2018. Our friendship blossomed so beautifully. It was easy going, genuine, organic and we were able to talk about any and everything. We started dating in November of 2018 and got engaged in November of 2022 on our anniversary. The engagement caught me by surprise. Although I knew that he would propose sometime soon, I wasn’t expecting it to be at that moment. He planned our engagement with the help of our friends and family and proposed at the restaurant where we had our first date, Busboys & Poets. Who would’ve known that 1 message on Twitter would lead to us being married & growing in love together. God knew! We’re forever thankful that God allowed us to find one another💍
