It all started with a Facebook message! Steve reached out to Bre after being set up by her best friend's mom, who was Steve's co-worker. They agreed to meet for a first date about a week later, the day before Halloween. Unfortunately, Bre was exposed to COVID during that time and had to postpone. Bre looked forward to Steve's texts every night, though, and they'd have conversations that lasted from the time they got home until they went to bed. They were finally able to have their first date on Nov. 7. Steve took Bre to the park for a picnic of Mexican food and they talked for over four hours! Steve texted Bre later that night and asked her if she'd want to go to an antique store for their next date since he remembered she had mentioned loving them. She said yes (of course!) and they went on a second date the next Sunday of antique shopping and milkshakes. From that point on, they were inseparable! They say when you know, you know, and that couldn't be more true! On December 23, Bre was in a car accident and broke her collarbone and ankle. Steve moved into Bre's house for two weeks, no questions asked, and took care of her. They've been through many things as a couple already, but being there for each other has been easy and natural. They've enjoyed two vacations- one to Kentucky and one to Michigan and Ohio (when they got engaged)! They've gone on countless antique shopping trips and collect many things together. They enjoy watching football and baseball together, spending time with family and friends, working in the house and yard, and hanging with their three pups- Zoeie, Nala, and Dozer! They couldn't be more excited to be getting married and to celebrate their special day with all their loved ones!
