How far is Lake Louise from Calgary International Airport?

Lake Louise is about a two hour drive from YYC.

Should I rent a car?

We absolutely recommend renting a car at YYC. This way you have a way to get around the beautiful site and don’t have to worry about the drive out to Banff from the airport!

Where should I stay?

Answer

The travel page has lots of hotel recommendations, but ultimately it is up to you! We will not be offended if you are not staying at the same hotel as us at all!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

On average in October in Banff, the high is about 50 degrees Fahrenheit and the low 29 degrees. We recommend packing some warm clothes to be safe, but also some cool clothes in the event that it is comfortable!

Do I need to bring a gift?

Answer

Your presence is our gift! We feel so honored that you are willing to travel so far for us on our special day. If you absolutely would like to give one, there is a honeymoon fund on the registry page. However, please do not feel obligated. We are just so happy to spend the day with you in a beautiful place!

When should I RSVP by?

Please let us know if you will be joining us no later than August 25th. We want to make sure we give the restaurant an accurate head count for the celebration!

There is convenient parking right at Lake Louise!

It is all in the same area! We will be walking over to the restaurant after the ceremony.
