Is there an RSVP deadline?

Answer

YES!! The deadline for all RSVP's is June 30, 2023. NO EXCEPTIONS. RSVP's can be made by sending back the RSVP card or on the website.

What happens if I miss the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Our venue has a strict head-count deadline. If you miss the RSVP deadline, we will not be able to accommodate you. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Can I bring a PLUS One?

Answer

Respectfully, NO. Due to the size of the venue, we have a strict guest list with an RSVP policy. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Children 12 and up are welcome to the ceremony and reception. We will have child care, games, movies and refreshments for children under the age of 12. We promise they will have a great time!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We will have entertainment and drinks before the ceremony. We ask that you arrive at 4:00 PM EST.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

YES!! Black-Tie: Wear floor-length gowns or formal cocktail dresses, tuxes, or black suits with black neckties/bowties. Dressy flats are welcome. Examples: https://www.brides.com/story/black-tie-wedding-guest-dress-code-long-gowns. DRESS TO IMPRESS :)

Are we allowed to take pictures?

Answer

We are asking that the ceremony be "Unplugged'. We ask that all phones be put away so you can enjoy this special moment with us. In order for our photographer and videographer to get the best photos, we are asking everyone to put their cameras and phones away for the ceremony. You can take as many photos as you like BEFORE and AFTER the ceremony. We want to have clear views of the wedding party, bride, and groom. BTW...have you seen some of the photos out there with the whole audience holding cell phones and blocking the paid photographer? It does not look good. We promise you will have access to some great photos after the wedding. After the ceremony, and at the reception, GET THOSE PHOTOS GOING! Just remember to use the hashtags #DancingInDesjardin or #DancingwithDesjardin if you post any pictures or videos.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No. The Ceremony and Reception will be held at The Gaylord Hotel. The Residence Inn and The Westin Hotel are directly across the street, less than a 3 minute walk.
