Ethan and Bre met through mutual friends in college. Although they attended different schools, one of Bre’s closest friends was also good friends with Ethan’s roommate, which often brought them together in the same larger friend group. They first met at a mutual friend’s house, where Ethan had already imagined a future with Bre - something she was completely unaware of at the time. For over a year, the two remained just friends before showing more interest in one another. Bre originally thought Ethan was driving 45 minutes simply to watch The Bachelorette with her, assuming he was invested in the season - in reality, he just wanted an excuse to spend more quality time together. As it turns out, Ethan was right all along, and the two ended up exactly where he always believed they would.
