We met on Tinder in early March, talked for a couple weeks and then decided to met up on March 24, a Sunday. We picked a bar in Remus and talked until the bar closed and even for a bit longer outside. He had to leave to go to work, so I teased him about being Cinderella needing to get back to a place on time. If he hadn't had to go to work we probably could have talked all night. We decided to met up again the next weekend, which in Christopher's mind meant we were dating, but I had no idea this was his mind set until my sisters wedding at the end of June! We've enjoyed spending time together ever since we met.
A friend of mine called on accident but we started talking and she joked about us going to Vegas with them to elope. When we got off the phone I turned to Christopher and said "you know, eloping isn't such a bad idea, what do you think?" He said "that could work" I asked him to think about the type of elopement he would like and I thought about it too. We talked a few days later and decided that doing it just the two of us was the best decision. From there we started looking into things and had about 5 weeks to plan it all.
We got married at Windy point on Dillon Lake in Colorado. We did a first look shortly after 7pm, had a short ceremony where we said our vows, exchanged rings, sealed it with a kiss and then had our first dance right there!
