Where are the festivities at East Wind?

Answer

Our wedding will be at The Veranda at East Wind Long Island. The ceremony will be outdoors (unless there are storms), the cocktail hour is indoor/outdoor, and the reception will be indoors.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

You can begin arriving at 6pm. The ceremony will start promptly at 6:30pm!

What should I wear?

Answer

Late summer/early fall cocktail attire! Think suits, dress pants, button down shirts, fun jumpsuits, and knee-to-floor length dresses. Ties are optional but welcome! Our only request - please no jeans.

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Yes, there is a room block for both Friday and Saturday evening. See the “Accommodations” tab for more details.

How can we get to the hotel and/or venue area?

Answer

For those coming from the New England area, you can take the New London, CT to Orient Point, NY ferry or the Bridgeport, CT to Port Jefferson, NY ferry. Alternatively, there is an Amtrak to NYC's Penn Station. For those going to the hotel from the NYC (or greater) area without a car, you can take the LIRR to the Ronkonkoma station, and the hotel is an 11 minute Uber from the Ronkonkoma station. A shuttle is scheduled to transport guests between the Hampton Inn - Brookhaven hotel and East Wind. See the "Accommodations" tab for more details.
