The Marriage of Bre and Andy

Our Story

A Blind Date → Engagement! In March 2024, we were informed about one another through a mutual friend, whom Bre had met on a retreat, and who Andy knew from a parish in San Diego, St. Brigid’s. A few days later, Andy called Bre and asked her on a date. We went on our first (blind!) date in Ventura in April. Our first date flew by. With no shortage of topics to discuss, the conversation felt very natural. We began to notice a growing sense of ease with one another. Despite being on opposite sides of Southern California, we prioritized time together, traveling to each other or meeting halfway - even spending time together on overlapping trips to D.C.! Soon, it became clear that God was inviting us to discern something profound. On May 10, 2025, Andy proposed at Serra Cross in Ventura, followed by a surprise engagement party with friends and family. We thank God for allowing our otherwise unlikely paths to cross, and for calling us to marriage. We cannot wait to celebrate with you!
