Can you drive there from Orlando?
Answer
Yes! This is about a 5hour drive from Winter Park.

Where is the wedding venue?
Answer
The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort and Spa. The ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and after-party are all at the same venue.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Although the ceremony is on the beach, we ask that your attire reflect a formal gathering. Men, please wear suit and tie.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
All children are invited to the beach ceremony. The cocktail hour and reception will be for adults only. We want this to be your night off too! If you are in need of child care, please reach out to the bride in advance for suggestions.

Our thinking behind a Friday wedding is for everyone to enjoy an extra day of celebration together on Saturday.

What is the plan for Saturday?
Answer
Come spend the day with Mr. & Mrs. Stadelman. Join us for a casual lunch and drinks at our favorite waterfront restaurants, all located right next to each other: Skull Creek Boathouse, Skull Creek Dockside, Hudson's Seafood House on the Docks. Guests are free to come and go as they please. From here, we will head over The Salty Dog Cafe at South Beach Marina to keep the party going. There will be a Sunset Cruise that departs at 5:30 (boarding begins at 5:00) and returns at 7:00. If you would like to enjoy the sunset from the dock instead, that's is great too! *TICKETS REQUIRED. The room blocks are full, where should I stay?
Answer
There are many places to stay nearby that are not part of our room block. For this, we would suggest searching VRBO or Air B&B for condo rentals. Anything listed in Port Royal Plantation or Folly Field Beach will be very close. Please kindly note The Westin is in the "heel" of Hilton Head Island. That being said, you can get around the majority of the island in less than 30 minutes. There will not be a shuttle service available from The Westin. If you are staying off-site please plan accordingly. If you need help with picking a place to stay, please text us! We are more than happy to help you find a place close by. Additional hotel options include- Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort (12 min from venue) Marriot Hilton Head Resort and Spa (12 min from venue)
