Laurel and I quickly became close friends when I moved to Dallas in August 2020, when I showed up to a new church group that she was leading! She is bold, she is a dreamer and one of the most ambitious women I know. She has challenged and inspired me in my faith, AND has been one of the biggest cheerleaders of Jason and I from the beginning! She celebrates people well, and it is MY honor to have her as Maid of Honor!

My sister, Crystal, is one of my best friends. She has been there through all of the highs and lows of my entire life, and has brought so much encouragement, fun, and laughter to my life. As the adventurous older sister, I probably put her in too many sketchy/dangerous situations growing up... but she stuck with me through my many rough patches! She is hilarious, intentional, and an incredible new mama to my favorite niece!! I can't imagine taking this big next step without her!

My sister, Ashlee, is also one of my best friends! With our 4-year age gap, our friendship grew over the years, but she is my favorite travel partner and adventurer! From traveling all over Italy and Spain together to sleeping on an Airbnb sailboat in Key West, Ashlee is down to try almost anything. She lives her life in such a beautifully surrendered way that inspires me. I have loved our many deep conversations, and getting to navigate our engagement seasons together! I am so thankful to celebrate this time in our lives together!

Little known fact... Jason and I may not be getting married today if it weren't for Raely! On my first date with Jason, I texted Raely from the bathroom freaking out about dating, and she encouraged me to give it time and see what happens! She encouraged me to give Jason a chance, and I am SO thankful she did! I am really going to miss living with Raely... I love her hilarious one-liners, deep conversations sitting on the kitchen counters, and traveling all over the place. My wedding day wouldn't be the same without her!
Chelsea

Chelsea and I have been the closest of friends since my sophomore year at ACU, when we met while I was an RA in Gardner Dorm at ACU. We instantly clicked because of our mutual love of long-boarding, Jesus, and adventures, and we immediately became inseparable on campus. Chelsea is SO smart and SO wise, and is one of the people I admire most in the world. I can't thank her enough for being my best friend all of these years, and it means so much to be celebrating my wedding together now after YEARS of prayers! Talk about seeing the best and worst of my dating life...She is a prayer-warrior and a true fighter!

Hannah and I met through our Gateway small group, and immediately I knew I wanted to be friends. She is the perfect combination of sassy, fun, joyful, and adventurous, and she is always down for anything! We've lived SO much life together in this short time... driving all over Colorado together, songwriting, sharing similar life experiences, praying over each other, having dance parties, and traveling every chance we get. She is a ray of sunshine, and I knew I wouldn't want to celebrate this season without having her with me!

Funny story about Caitlyn... at the beginning of freshman year of college, Caitlyn and I did not click for some reason. We weren't enemies or anything, but our friendship wasn't instant. However, by the end of that year, Caitlyn and I were always hanging out, driving around listening to throwback songs and dancing in the car. I never would have predicted how close we would become, but she has been one of my greatest friendship blessings and surprises! Caitlyn is so bubbly, fun, and celebrates people so well. I'm thrilled she agreed to keep the celebrations going with me throughout this amazing wedding season!

No joke... I first met Kaitlin in band at ACU when she accidentally forgot to put her clarinet away and walked all the way to the dorms with it in her hands before realizing! Very quickly after, I got to see her meet the man of her dreams, and fall in love. We also made up silly things to entertain us during band like "Model Monday's" where we would have to strike a random model pose if we made eye contact at any point on the field. Kaitlin is wonderful and sweet, and has walked through so many heartbreaks with me. Because she's seen the hardest and worst moments of my love life all along, it truly feels extra special to finally get to celebrate this moment now together!!

Leslie has been my friend the longest of anyone... 15 years now!! We met in a girls church group in 7th grade, and I remember thinking she was the most fun, quirky girl I'd ever met. And because of that I made it my mission to be her friend! From getting our licenses together, going to Winter Camp, writing in our friend-notebook, sharing a locker, climbing my first 14-er, and even getting to stand beside her on her wedding day, Leslie has been up for ALL of the adventures! She's my Colorado girl, and it's truly AMAZING that our friendship has stood the test of time. Let's do this thing!

Kelli and I met our freshman year when I went out on a limb and FB messaged her to see if we could hang out sometime. I was so nervous because I was having a hard time making friends on campus, but she was so receptive and we immediately clicked! From our silly dances down the hallway, to standing beside her at her own wedding, to our annual end of year jumping picture, Kelli has been there! She's actually one of the first people I introduced Jason to when we started dating! Kelli is so sincere, talented, and peace-filled, and I'm so excited to finally be celebrating my wedding together!
