Bree and Sedrick met at Wacoochee Jr. High School in their 7th grade science class and have been friends ever since. The two love birds remained friends throughout high school and even attended junior prom together. After they graduated from high school, Bree attended the University of Alabama and Sedrick later attended Auburn University. Despite the two being a part at rival schools, they continued their friendship and kept in contact with one another. In 2020, the pair’s friendship began to take a turn. They started to enjoy spending time together and began pursuing a relationship. On November 8th, 2020, Bree and Sedrick made things official!

After almost three years of dating, Sedrick knew it was time to pop the question. He found the perfect ring for Bree and began planning their engagement. Sedrick informed Bree that his mom was having a celebration for her birthday in August. As the months led up to August 19th, 2023, Sedrick kept in contact with Bree’s family and close friends, informing them of the surprise he had in store for Bree. The week leading up to the engagement, Sedrick grew nervous and anxious but he managed to keep his composure because Bree had no idea! On the day of the proposal, Sedrick and Bree arrived at Macon’s Place. Sedrick took Bree’s hand and guided her around to the back of the building because “he wanted to surprise his mom as she walked through the front.” When they approached the door, Sedrick told Bree to close her eyes. As they entered into the back of the building, Bree heard the familiar tune of “You and I” by John Legend! When Bree opened her eyes, she was awestruck at the rose petals on the floor leading up to the bright red heart-shaped balloon arch with the sign ‘Marry Me.’ Not only was she awestruck by the decorations but she became overwhelmed with joy once she realized their families and close friends were there with an outpouring of love and support! In a room full of their loved ones, Sedrick got down on bended knee and asked Bree for her hand in marriage and of course, Bree said YES! Both Bree and Sedrick are elated to be tying the knot and they cannot wait to join in Holy Matrimony as “The Mack’s!”
