Things To Do
Prince Gallitzin State Park
Our favorite thing to do at Prince Gallitzen State Park is go to the water tower and just look at nature. It's such a beautiful scenery up there and it's very easy to get to, as well as there are not too many stairs to go up to get to the top of it. It's also the perfect location to have a picnic, or go kayaking!
Lake Raystown Resort
Breana spent 7 summers while in high school and college. Some of her favorite things to do are eating at the Marina Cafe and also going to the outlook at the breast of the dam. She also enjoys feeding t he carp and duck at the marina (not bread though!!)
High Street Emporium
Such a cool store that we go to and spend hours just looking at all the antique things, and everything is decently priced too!
The Meadows Original Frozen Custard
Our all time favorite place to go for ice cream! They have two flavors a day along with some other wonderful treats available!
Lakemont Park
Fun Fact: we got engaged infront of Lakemont! There is also two mini golf courses, go karts, rollercoasters, and other rides for children. There is also a water park area, mostly for younger children available.
Trough Creek State Park
Hiking to Balance Rock and visiting the ice mine are definitely a must do when in the area.
