Breana and Ashley first met as friends—two people who instantly clicked over long conversations, mutual respect, and an easy sense of humor. What started as friendship slowly and naturally grew into something deeper. Along the way, they discovered just how much they had in common: a love for the outdoors, deep loyalty to family, a weakness for good food, and an appreciation for quiet moments as much as spontaneous adventures. But what made their connection even stronger was how much they didn’t have in common. Where one is calm, the other is full of energy. One plans, the other goes with the flow. These differences didn’t push them apart—they helped them grow, balancing each other in a way that just felt right. Bringing their lives together also meant bringing their kids into one home—Ashley with her two wonderful boys, and Breana with her bright and fearless daughter. Creating a new family came with its challenges (and plenty of laundry), but also brought laughter, growth, and love in ways none of them could have imagined. On June 29th, 2024, while hiking through the wild beauty of the Cascade Mountains, Breana asked Ashley to marry her. Before that special day, she had quietly asked for Ashley’s dad’s blessing—a deeply meaningful moment that became even more cherished after his passing. Now, surrounded by their children, friends, and chosen family, Breana and Ashley are excited to celebrate the life they’ve built—and the journey still ahead.
