Hello friends and family,   We have the joy of sharing the journey that led us to this moment—soon to be standing at the altar. Our Story begins back in the fall of 2019, while we were in pharmacy school at Howard University. It's funny how life orchestrates meetings that seem like chance but are anything but.   Nnenna, thinking she could keep Chidozie at arm's length, tried to pull the friendzone card early on (Can you blame her? He was a bad boy mehn). But her friends, unbeknownst to her, would relay intel on her true feelings. These little hints didn’t deter him; they only fueled his resolve to win her over. Nnenna would linger on campus, way after her classes were done for the day, hoping for our paths to cross in CCH. We started studying together regularly at the med school library, a routine that not only deepened our knowledge but also our connection.   By February 2020, we were officially a couple, just as the world slid into the quiet uncertainty of the pandemic. Those months of isolation became our cocoon, nurturing a bond that was profound and full of discoveries. Through this period, Chidozie witnessed Nnenna’s unwavering faith in Christ. Her devotion was not just inspiring—it sowed a seed of faith in him, gradually taking root and transforming his life.   Her influence guided him to a pivotal decision in January 2023, when he rededicated his life to Christ. That spiritual milestone clarified everything for him, including his future with Nnenna. Although, he knew from the moment they met that she was the woman God had chosen for him—his future wife, confidant, and partner in every sense. Holding onto the engagement ring fund he had ready since June of 2020, he finally proposed to her on April 15, 2023. Her "yes" was the affirmation of what his heart already knew.   Nnenna: Chidozie is my kingdom partner, my personal person and my heart in human form. I prayed specifically for a man just like him and my God blessed me with nothing but His best. He exemplifies true leadership and submission under the authority of God. To say the least, I am honored and filled with immense joy to walk down the aisle with my best friend. Chidozie: Nnenna is more than my partner; she is my best friend. Together, we've navigated every challenge and climbed every mountain that life has placed in our path. With her, there is nothing we can't discuss, resolve, or overcome. I am beyond excited to walk down the aisle and step into the future that God has so graciously written for us.   Thank you for sharing in our joy and for joining us as we celebrate this beautiful union.
